Four Layer Cheese Spread
Yield:about 3 cups
1(8 oz.)pkg.cream cheese,softened & divided
1/4 c.fresh baby spinach,chopped
4-1/2 tsp.chutney
2 c.(8 oz.)shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 c.mayonnaise
1/2 c.chopped pecans
1/4 c.finely chopped onions
Dash hot pepper sauce
Additional fresh baby spinach
Assorted crackers & vegetables
In a small bowl,combine 4 oz.cream cheese & chopped spinach.In another bowl,combine chutney & remaining cream cheese.In a large bowl,combine cheddar cheese,mayonnaise,pecans,onion & hot pepper sauce.
Line a 3-cup bowl w/plastic wrap.Spread half of the cheddar cheese mixture in prepared bowl.Layer with the spinach & chutney mixtures.Top w/remaining cheddar cheese mixture.Cover & refrigerate overnight.
Unmold onto a serving plate;garnish w/additional spinach.Serve w/crackers & veggies.
