NUT CUPS
Crust:
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 cup flour
Mix ingredients together and put into rolls in wax paper and place in refrigerator until ready to use.
Filling:
¾ cup ground or crushed nuts
¾ cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Blend ingredients together. Remove crust from refrigerator and roll into balls and place into muffin tins. Spread out dough to form a cup and put filling into each cup. Bake 15 minutes in a 350 oven then turn down oven to 250 and bake 10 minutes more. If not golden brown, leave in a few more minutes in the 250 oven. Makes 24 nut cups.
