Hummus and Techina Chick Pea Spread
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can garbanzo beans
juice of 1 lemon (2 Tbsp.)
1 small clove garlic,peeled
2 tbsp.olive oil
3 tbsp. techina (see index for recipe) or plain tahini from jar
Drain beans.
Blend with lemon juice,garlic,olive oil and techina in blender,food processor or thoroughly mash by hand until smooth. Spread in mound on flat plate and swirl with knife to flatten.
Drizzle a little olive oil over the top,if desired.
Serve at room temperature with Pita bread.
