3c. sugar
3c. water
10 tsp. instant coffee
3 tsp. vanilla
1qt. vodka, or more to taste
Brandy 1 pint ...or to taste (optional)
Mix first three ingredients well: bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. turn off heat. add vanilla and vodka (and in my case ...brandy!): stir and let cool. bottle and refrigerate. let stand 24 hours before using. keep refrigerated.plastic milk jugs work great for this.
