I had these at Blogher food last October, I thought these were wonderful cocktails!

Making a cocktail pre-mix is the way to go for large parties. Then all you have to do is shake, strain and splash with a little bubbly! Thyme adds a nice herbalicious note to the cocktail. For a different twist, try substituting rosemary for the thyme.

    Makes 1 cocktail

    1 large sprig fresh thyme
    1 1/2 oz. vodka
    1 3/4 oz. Cuties Citrus Pre-Mix
splash (about 1 oz) of Champagne or brut sparkling wine
Garnish: Small sprig fresh thyme and a wedge of Cutie

Bend and drop the thyme sprig into a cocktail shaker. Measure in the vodka and Cuties Citrus Pre-Mix. Fill shaker with ice, cap and shake well. Strain cocktail into a large martini glass then top with a splash of Champagne and garnish with a small thyme sprig and a wedge of Cutie on a pick.

    Cuties Citrus Pre-Mix
Makes 1 1/3 cups pre-mix, enough for about 6 cocktails

    1/4 cup hot water
    1/4 cup local honey
5 Cuties, juiced (about 6 Tbsp. juice)
    1/2 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice

In a pitcher mix together the hot water and honey and stir until dissolved. Measure in the remaining ingredients, stir and keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Note: The Cuties pre-mix also makes a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail. Just shake 2 oz. of the pre-mix with a sprig of fresh thyme and ice. Serve on the rocks, topped with 2 oz. of soda water stirred in.
