I LOVED these as a kid and it was one of the first cookies that I made alone. YUMMY! I gotta make these again, soon!
Eagle Brand Magic Cookie Bars
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 ( 14 oz) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 cups (12oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass dish). In 13x9" baking pan, melt butter in oven.
2. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; pour EAgle Brand evenly over crumbs. Layer evenly with remaiing ingredients; press down firmly.
3. Bake 25 mins or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
Makes 24-36 bars.
