Cherry Coffee Cake

Cream:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup crisco
1 1/2 cups sugar

Add:
4 beaten eggs
3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp.s baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well.

Put 2/3 batter in greased jelly roll pan or a cake pan. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling on top. Drop rest of batter by tsp.s and spread as much as possible. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. While warm spread with a powdered sugare frosting.
