This is the only recipe I will use when I make a German Chocolate Cake

German Chocolate Cake Frosting

1 cup sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter or margarine, I use Blue Bonnet
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix surgar, evaported milk, egg yolks and butter. Spray saucepan with Pam and boil above for 12 minutes, keep stirring. Take off burner and add nuts, coconut and vanilla.
