Never Fail Dumplings:

1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
2/3 tsp. salt
1 cup flour
2 T. cornstarch
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix egg and milk. Add sifted dry ingredients. Stir only until moistened. Drop in boiling broth and cook. Cover 15 to 20 minutes. DON'T PEEK.
