Beer Biscuits (Paula Deen Food Network)

4 cups biscuit mix (recommended: Bisquick)
    1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1 (12-ounce) can of beer (I used Amberbock)
    2 tablespoons butter, melted

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all ingredients well, adjusting the sugar according to how sweet a biscuit you prefer. Pour into well-greased muffin tins. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with honey butter. (I used Habanero jelly from an Orchard in Georgia)

I made these last night (using Amberbock) and they were really good (and easy).

I tossed in a handfull of shredded cheese and when they came out of the oven I topped them with garlic/parsley butter. YUM

You guys will love these. Even DD who "says" she can detect when I cook with alcohol (which she can't) - didn't know these were made with beer. LOL
