Spiced Apple Cake Mix
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
3/4 cup golden raisins (optional)
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking sodea & nutmeg. Pack into decorative jar. Top with chopped pecans & raisins, if desired.

Spiced Apple Cake
1 jar of Spiced Apple Cake Mix
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups peeled, chopped apples
Brown Sugar Glaze (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 10" bundt pan.
In a large bowl, combine spiced apple cake mix, oil and eggs. Beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla and chopped apples. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until tester inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Drizzle with Brown Sugar Glaze, if desired.

Brown Sugar Glaze
1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Cool slightly & drizzle over cake.
