This one is pretty good!

CINNAMON BREAD

2 cups all pourpose flour (unbleached)
1 cup sugar
2 t. BP
1/2 t. BS
1 & 1/2 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 cup buttermilk, room temp
1/4 cup evgetable oil
2 eggs
2 t. white vanilla extract
1/4 cup toastd pecans pieces
TOPPING
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
2 t. butter
1/4 cup toasted pecans

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees

Grease on 9X5 inch loaf pan
In a large bowl add the first 10 ingredients, and beat for 3 minutes. Pour in the loaf pan & smooth the top.
Combine 3 T. sugar, 1/2 t. cinnamon and the butter, and mix until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping over smoothed batter.
Using a table knife, cut in a light swirling motion to give a marbled effect as in cinnamon bread.
Sprinkle with the 1/4 cup pecans

Bake for about 50 minutes.
Do a toothpick test for doneness
Remove bread from the pan and let cool on a rack.

NOTE
You can add raisins if you like. I do not add rasins, but serve this with fruit flavored cream cheese, toasted or plain
