Peach Cake

2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1 package DH yellow cake mix
1 package instant coconut pudding mix
1 cup water
4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix peaches, sugar and orange juice and set aside.

In a large bowl mix the cake & pudding mixes. Stir in the water, eggs and vegetable oil.
Beat with mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed
Drain the peaches.
Pour 1/2 of cake batter intop greased & floured 9X13 inch pan.
Arrange peach slices ove top of batter and cover with remaining cake batter.
Bake in 350 degree over until it tests done with toothpick, about 35-45 minutes
Let cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing to serving platter.

PEACH ICING
1/2 cup fresh peaches, sliced
1 T. sugar
1 T orange juice
3 oz package of cream cheese
1 T. buttr
1 t. vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Mix peaches, sugar and orange juice.
Let stand and set aside

In a bowl mix the cream cheese, butter, vanilla & sugar.
Beat well. Drain the peaches and reserve the liquid.
mash the peaches and stir into cheese mixture. Thin with reserved juice if necessary.
Spread over cooled peach cake.
