M&M Cookies:
A tried & true oldie but goodie Smile These are so yummy!
Yields about 3 dozen 2&1/2"cookies
1/2 c.Crisco shortening
1/2 c.brown sugar
1/4 c.granulated sugar
1/2 tsp.vanilla
1/4 tsp.water
1 egg
1 c.& 2 Tbls.all purpose flour
1/2 tsp.baking soda
1/2 tsp.salt
3/4 c.M&M plain chocolate candy
Blend Crisco & sugars.Beat in vanilla,water & egg.Sift remaining dry ingredients together & add to the sugar & egg mixture.Mix well.Stir in M&M's.Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or til golden brown.
For additional color,press extra M&M's before baking.
