1 Box box of Duncan Hines French Vanilla Cake Mix
Prepare according to box. (I used 2 9" round cake pans)
1 jar of raspberry jam (seedless)
Cream Cheese Frosting
1 8oz pkg of cream cheese softened
1/4 c butter softened
3 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbs Vanilla
Beat until creamy
I always add a bit more vanilla and powdered sugar for better flavor.
Bake your cake according to directions, let cakes cool
spread the jam on the bottom layer and place the other cake on top. Spread with frosting.
The cake is very moist and light. My SO's 10 year old daughter actually did all the work except for spreading the frosting.
