This recipe is by special request for 4me2conly. I thought I posted it a long time ago, but I suppose I didn't.
I have seen many varieties and this is my favorite, this is the one my mom made us. It is a very light dessert and very good. Liked by all walks of people especially people who don't like super sweet desserts.
For those really creative:Last year I miniaturized this. I did use mini phyllo tart shells, but didn't like them. Next time I would just make the same crust in my mini muffin pans. Great for a holiday dessert tray with mini cupcakes, brownie bites, fudge and pecan tassies.
Enjoy,
Michelle
