    Brownie Tassies

    3/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 to 3 tablespoons cold water
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    2 tablespoons butter or margarnie
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamn
    additional semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well. Cut in 1/3 cup butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle cold water (1 tablespoon at a time) evenly over surface; stir with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape pastry into 24 balls. Place in ungreased miniature (1-3/4 inch) muffin pans, shaping each into a shell; set aside.

Combine 1/2 cup morsels and 2 tablespoons butter in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cook until chocolate melts, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in 1/3 cup sugar, egg, vanilla and cinnamon. Spoon mixture into shells. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes or until set. Top each with a morsel (if desired); bake an additional minute. Let cool in pans on wire racks. Loosen edges from pans using a sharp knife.

    Makes 2 dozen.
