    TO DIE FOR CROCK POT ROAST

    1 beef roast, any cut, to fit size of crock pot
    1 Pkg Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
    1 pkg brown gravy mix
    1 pkg Italian Dressing mix
    1/2 C water

    Combine mixes well and sprinkle over roast in pot. Pour water into bottom of pot. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.

        I made this, but It was soooo salty. Was it the gravy mix??

          I think this recipe for some people does come out salty to their personal tastes, everything in there has a lot of salt in it. For me, I am a salt fiend, I have six types of salt in my house, an amazingly I have low blood pressure.

            I use more water and I mix the envelopes with the water and pour over the roast. I also put potatoes and carrots in the crockpot. That helps take the salt out for me.

              I did what you did grammy & this was good.Havent made it in a long time,will have to make it again sometime soon.
