Time for homemade ice cream folks!
Use one quart very soft peaches in a large bowl.
Mash the peaches with 2 cups sugar, 1 t. pure vanilla, and 1 t. almond extract, cover with a tee towel, and set aside for an hour or so. Be sure to keep some pieces in small chunks.
When ready to freeze add 2 quarts of rich cream, mix thoroughly, and freeze in your freezer.
We still use my grandmothers old wooden hand turned freezer! It never fails!
