    Whipped Cream/Cream Cheese Frosting

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond or peach extract, I used almond
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
    2 cups heavy cream

Use an electric mixer on medium speed to whip the cream cheese until smooth. Reduce the speed to low and stir in the vanilla and almond extract. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until it is mixed well and smooth. With mixer on low speed, add half the heavy cream. Use a spatula to remove any unmixed cream cheese from the bottom of the bowl. When the mixture is smooth, gradually add the rest of the heavy cream. Increaser the speed to high and whip until stiff. Use immediately for best decorating texture.
I found this on the web and the only change I made was to use powdered sugar. The original recipe called for 1/3 cup fruit sweetner.

I put this on a carrot cake made from a box. I have not tried the cake but this frosting is to die for. You can taste the almond extract and it is so yummy.
