Cherry Cheesecake:


1 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine

Mix and spread on bottom of pan, 8x8 or 9x9". Bake at 400 for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven when only slightly brown around edge. Cool.

One envelope powdered topping mix, such as Dream Whip. Whip according to pkg. directions on pkg. One large (8-oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, soften and blend with Dream Whip. One-half cup powdered sugar, add. Mix well. Spread over cooled crust in even layer. Chill for a while if possible.


1 can cherry pie filling. Any flavor of pie filling is good, cream types.) Refrigerate overnight. Graham cracker or vanilla wafer crumbs may also be used for the crust if desired.
