This is an easy recipe and a little different from the traditional Rice Krispie Squares. My husband loves them.
1 package 12 oz. (2 cups) butterscotch bits
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
Combine butterscotch bits and peanut butter in a large saucepan. Stir over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
Add cereal and stir until well coated.
Press mixture evenly into buttered 9 x 13 pan.
Or you can press into an 8 x 8 pan for thicker squares (we love this size).
Chill until firm. Cut into squares.
