Simple Strawberry Pie
1 - 9 inch frozen pie crust
1 small pkg strawberry jello
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. ginger ale
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced in half or any other way you like them
Bake pie shell according to directions on package. Set aside to cool.
In medium saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients except strawberries, over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally for 5 to 7 minutes or until jello has dissolved and the mixture is clear. Remove from heat, let stand about 5 minutes. Stir in strawberries, then pour mixture into pie shell. Chill about 4 hours or until set. Top with whipped cream.
