My wonderful neighbor gave me this recipe this morning, and I had it made and in the frig before 12 noon! I just ate a small piece and it is sooooooooooooooo good. It is raining and cold here today, not a day for eating this type of dessedrt, but if they don't come home soon I may eat it all up!

    FIRST LAYER:
    1 stick butter
    1 cup chopped roasted pecans
    1&1/2 cups flour.
Mix together and then pat down in a 9X13 inch baking pan.
BAKE at 325 (preheated) for 20 minutes.
    Allow to cool.

    SECOND LAYER:
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 package cream cheese (8oz.)softened
Mix together and spread over completely cooled crust.

    THIRD LAYER:
3 small packages of instant vanilla pudding (I only had banana so I used that)
    4&1/2 cups milk
    1 t. vanilla
Mix together well and pour over second layer.

    FOURTH LAYER:
3 small packages instant dark chocolate pudding.
    4&1/2 cups of milk
    1 t. vanilla
Mix together and pour over third layer.

FROST with a nice layer of whipped cream or topping.

Place in the frig to chill, then take a small piece/sample like I did.
Working...
