Someone had posted on here a few years ago a recipe for easy fudge using frosting. Well, let me tell you, I have had so many compliments on the fudge, it has me thinking about starting an at home business making it and selling it and craft shows.
EZ Fudge
1 12 oz bag chocolate chips
1 16 oz tub chocolate frosting
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Microwave chocolate chips 1-2 minutes or until melted. In same bowl, stir in frosting, salt, and vanilla. Mix together until it loses its glossiness, pour into greased pan, let cool, cut into squares.
I modified this a little tho. I made a huge batch a few weeks ago for a party at work, using 3 bags of chips, and 3 tubs of frosting. I used 1 tub of cream cheese frosting instead of using all chocolate. I had so many raves about the fudge, I even had some guy come over to my desk and tell me I should go into business making fudge, he would be a good customer. Smile
Got me thinking about many different flavors to try and make with all the combinations of different flavored chips, and frostings. Something to think about with craft shows starting soon for the fall. The Food Network had on there a few weeks ago a couple that started a business making home made toffee at craft shows, and made $1200.00 the first weekend they sold it. Wow!!!
