My old fashioned wooden freezer has had a real work out this summer. My favorite is still my grandmothers fresh peace ice cream Smile
BIG RED ICE CREAM
1 quart whipping cream
2 can sweetened condensed milk
1 10 oz. package frozen strawberries
1 T. vanilla
3 cans Big Red Soda Pop (36 oz.)
Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl, and stir to mix well. I allow the foam from the soda to settle down.
Pour into an ice cream freezer and then fill to the line with MILK.
NOTE:You can omit the strawberries if you like
