    Fabulous Pecan Pie

    Divided baking times -

    Oven at 400 15 minutes
    350 30 to 35 minutes

    3 eggs
    1 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
    1 cup sugar
    2 T. melted butter
    1 t. vanilla
    1/8 t. salt
    2 cups pecans
    1 (9") deep dish pie shell, unbaked

    Beat eggs slightly. Mix in corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla & salt. Add nuts. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes, then 350 for 30 to 35 minutes. Filling should be slightly less set in center than around the edge.

    Store in the fridge.

    Nice recipe. Have you also tried adding a little lemon juice?
