    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1/2 cup flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    2 teaspoons paprika
    3 pounds chicken
    1/3 cup butter
    1/4 cup lemon
    1 tablespoon oil
    2 tablespoons grated onion
    1 small. clove garlic -- (crushed)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thym

    In a bag combine flour, 1 tsp. salt & paprika, coat chicken generously. Melt butter in baking pan, over low heat. Remove from heat, add chicken and coat with butter on all sides. Place in pan skin side down. Bake in oven for 30 minutes. In a small bowl blend remaining salt & remaining ingredients. Turn chicken & pour lemon mixture over chicken. Bake for 30 minutes longer, or until brown. Bake at 375 degrees.
