Gary Solomon's Crockpot Short Ribs with Beer
4 lb. chuck short ribs
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c. your favorite beer
1/4 c. flour
Coat the beef ribs in the flour and brown all sides in butter. Layer the ribs, onion, garlic and seasoning in the crockpot. Pour in beer. Cover and cook on low temperature for 6-8 hours. Remove ribs and thicken the gravy with a flour and water mixture. Serve with buttered egg noodles or rice.
