    From Robbie's Recipes

    Meatballs like Carrabba'sŪ - A combination of beef, pork, cheese, and fresh herbs make for a flavorful meaty addition to any pasta sauce.

    Serves: 6-8
    Prep. Time: 0:40

    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
    4 cloves garlic - minced
    2 eggs - lightly beaten
    1 sm. yellow onion - minced
    3 Tbls. grated Parmesan cheese
    3 Tbls. grated Romano cheese
    3 Tbls. minced fresh parsley
    3 Tbls. minced fresh basil
    salt and pepper - to taste
    1 cup olive oil

    -Combine all ingredients, except olive oil, and form into 1 1/2" balls.
    -Pour olive oil in a 13" X 9" X 2" baking dish and place meatballs on top; swirl pan around to coat meatballs in oil.
    -Bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
    -Drain on paper towels.

    I have to admit I saw this recipe a few months ago and made them For Christmas and New Years and everyone loved them. Even the chef who attended the party and even asked how they are made he said these were almost as good as his. Which we all know they were better or he wouldn't have asked for the recipe..hahahaha

    Since I found this I have only this meatball recipe ever since! These are the best! Of course I add alittle extra cheese to mine. Thanks so much for the awesome recipe!!
