Baked Cabbage Jambalaya
1 head of cabbage, chopped
1 lb. ground meat
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into pieces
1 cup raw rice, washed
1 onion, chopped
chili powder to taste 1 head cabbage, chopped
1 lb. ground meat
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into pieces
1 cup raw rice, washed
1/3 cup cooking oil 1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
1 can ro-tel
saute the ground meat. Season meat well, then add chopped onion and smoked sausage; cook for a short time. Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 275 for 2 hours, stirring halfway through the cooking. This makes alot; heats up well but does not freeze well.
