Pepper Steak
1 lb. Round Sirloin Steak (cut in thin strips)
2 tbsp butter
1 cup sliced green pepper
1 cup sliced onion
½ cup coarsely chopped celery
8 oz sliced mushrooms (fresh)
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp corn starch
1 cup water
either 1 or 1-1/2 tsp. Baltimore Spice Old Bay Seasoning (to your liking)
Cooked white rice.
In skillet, brown sirloin steak slightly in butter. Add vegetables, salt and old bay seasoning. Stir fry about 5 minutes. Mix corn starch with water and soy sauce. Pour mixture over vegetables. Stir until sauce has thickened some.
Serve over rice.
