Venison Tenderloin
1 strap of deer tenderloin
flour (optional)
season salt & pepper
garlic powder
cooking oil
Take and slice the tenderloin into serving slices, heat oil in pan (i use electric skillet) until hot, season slices with season salt, pepper, and garlic powder, if using flour (i don't) dredge in flour and place in pan. Fry until golden brown on all sides and is done.
To make gravy with this I scrap the pan of the "brown bits" add flour and make a paste, I use beef broth for the liquid.
I usally serve this with mashed potatoes, especially when i make the gravy.
