    1# ground chuck
    1 egg
    3 T. Ritz crackers or bread crumbs
    2 T. finely chopped onions
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. pepper
    1/4 t. poultry seasoning
    2 small cans mushrooms undrained
    3 T. butter
    3 T. flour
    3 c. milk
    3 cubes beef bouillion(or 3 t. granules)

    In med. bowl, mix together the ground chuck, egg, cracker or bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. Shape into 6 patties about 1" thick.
    Fry the patties in lg. skillet over med-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned. Drain off grease and remove patties to a platter; keep warm.
    Melt the butter in the same skillet and add the mushrooms. Cook and stir for about 2 min. Sprinkle the flour over, and mix in until blended. Stir in the milk and beef bouillion. Cook and stir over med. heat until smooth and starting to thicken. Return the patties to the gravy adn cook over low heat, uncovered for about 10 min, stirring occasionally.
