This came from the old CK site and I did not mention who posted it - sorry.


4-5 pound rump roast
2 cups beef broth
1 can beer, any kind you like
1 package dry Lipton onion soup mix
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
2 cloves chopped garlic

Place roast in a large slow cooker. Mix remaining ingredients together in a large bowl. Be sure it is mixed well. Pour the mixture over the roast and let it cook on LOW for about 12 hours or until done. Serve wtih plenty of onion rolls for dipping in the sauce!
