    Something about the vinegar makes the crust really tender.


    Mix until crumbly: 4 C. flour
    1-3/4 C. Crisco
    1 tbsp. sugar

    Mix in Measuring Cup: 1 tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg
    1/2 C. water

    Pour over flour mixture, mix until moistened. Chill 15 minutes. Dough will keep for 3 days.

    Makes 5 single shells or 2 whole pies.
