This is sooo good. Please adjust according to your tastes..actually, this recipe is adjusted as the original had too much beef consume'

    Beef Stroganoff

1 tenderized round steak (actually, I use a package of cheap stew meat!)
    1 can beef broth
    1 can beef consume'
2 small cans sliced mushrooms (optional)
    8 oz sour cream

Cut steak into strips (or put stew meat into a bowl!) Roll in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Sear in butter along with 1 onion. When browned, add the beef broth and consume'. Also add mushrooms if desired. Simmer for 1 hour until thickened. (if you use stew meat...add more beef broth if needed and cook an additional hour) Add sour cream. Cook until warm. Serve over hot egg noodles. (If it is not thick enough, I take some of the broth out, let it cool, add some flour to it, shake it up and add it back into the beef mixture.)
Working...
