I got this one out of one of my mother's cookbooks when I was a teenager. I think it was one of those brand-name cookbooks, but not sure.

Italian Meatballs

2 lbs ground beef
1 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs or 1 package crackers, crushed
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
3 tbsp. oil

Combine all ingredients. Shape into balls. Cook under the broiler until browned, turning once. Add to spaghetti sauce.

These can also be cooked on the stove, so I'm told, I just have always preferred the taste of them broiled.
