    I added worcestershire and more garlic and did not use the fresh mushrooms or nutmeg (though DH would have loved to have the fresh mushrooms added). I also added cheddar cheese, tomato, and jalapenos to the sandwich and baked until the cheese was melted. We enjoyed this.

    Stroganoff Sandwiches

    1 lb ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    6-8 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 T AP flour
    t salt
    t paprika
    1/8 t nutmeg
    1 can (10-3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    c fresh mushrooms
    8 hamburger buns, split

    In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add bacon and garlic. Combine the flour, salt, paprika, and nutmeg; gradually stir into beef mixture until blended.

    Stir in soup and mushrooms (mixture will be thick). Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 4-5 minutes or until heater through. Stir in sour cream. Cook 3-4 minutes longer or until heated through, stirring occasionally (do not boil). Serve on buns.

            oh that looks soooo YUM!
            i love the picture too.. is that jalepeno slices on top? thats how i would do it too. i'm gonna try this next week.

              Yeppers, I was in the mood for jalapenos and just threw them on top! :D
