Easy one for Labor Day BBQ
BEER CHICKEN
1- Whole Amish Chicken -cleaned & dried
2- Season in & out with salt & pepper
3- Handful of brown sugar inside & rubbed all over outside.
4- Place in plastic bag/or bowl in fridge for 2 hours.
5-Remove from bag open 1 can of beer and sip out about 1/3. I f you need more beer open another and leave this one for the chicken. Snap off the pop top and center your chicken cavity over the can of beer.
6- Place on BBQ sitting up!
7- Roast 1-1/2 hours over coals @ 325 if you have a thermometer on your grill. Test checken for doneness by leg that needs to move freely.
*They are making racks to hold 3 cans so you can use multiple chickens.
