Venison Roast
5 lb. venison roast
1 tbsp. cinammon
1 tbsp. ginger
2 tbsp. sugar
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 cups tomato juice
2 chopped onions
1/2 tsp. pepper
Brown roast on all sides in a little olive oil. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and pour over browned roast. Cover and cook in a moderate oven for 3 hours in a heavy dutch oven.
