    Shrimp in Spicy Creole Sauce


    1 t. paprika
    3/4 t. black pepper
    1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. garlic powder
    1/4 t. oregano
    1/8 t. onion powder
    Pinch cayenne pepper
    Pinch of thyme
    30 uncooked large shrimp (Cleaned, tails on)
    7 T. chilled, unsalted butter
    3 T. worcestershire sauce
    3 T. fresh lemon juice
    2 t. chopped garlice

    Combine paprika, pepper , salt, garlic powder, oregano, onion powder, cayanne & thyme. Mix well. toss shrimp with the seasonings.
    Melt 3 T. of the butter in a large saucepan. Add worcestershire, lemon juice & garlic. Saute' about 2 minutes. Add shrimp and saute' until shrimp are pink (about 4 minutes) Add remaining 4 T. of butter and stir well. Transfer to a large bowl and serve with fresh, hot french bread for dipping.
