Willie's Hamburger Oyster Dressing
2 lb Extra Lean Hamburher
2 Onions, chopped
1 cup Celery. chopped
2 Bell Peppers, chopped
2 bunches Green Onions, chopped fine
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh Parsley
1 quart Raw Oysters
4-6 cups cooked Rice
1/2 stick Butter
DIRECTIONS:
Cook hamburger until all pink is gone and drain. In skillet, melt 1/2 stick butter. Add the chopped onion, celery and bell pepper. Saute until onion is clear. Mix in with hamburger meat.Add the oysters and simmer until oysters curl. Mix in rice.If this is too dry, add turkey or chicken broth to moisten. Just before serving, add the green onions and parsley. Mix well and serve.
NOTE: Be SURE not to leave out before placing in refrigerator as the oysters will spoil !!!
