My friend and I used to go to this little cafe about once a week for these prawns. And each time we'd ask the chef questions about them trying to find out the ingredients. I was about move and I told him my mission was to get that recipe before I left. So one day he was so kind to bring out the recipe so I could take a quick look. Thank God for camera phones!!

Spicy Asian Prawns

1 1/2 lbs. Prawns/Medium Shrimp
3/4 Cup chopped Roma Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Chopped Green Onions
1 Slab of Butter
1/3 Cup Whipping Cream

Dry Ingredients: (The dry ingredients makes way more than you need for one bach but I just make it up to keep on hand for future use.)
1/2 Cup Salt
1/2 Cup Cayene
1/2 Cup Chili Flakes
1/4 Cup Ground Pepper
1/4 Cup Oregano

Oil Mixture:
1/2 Cup Whole Garlic
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup Honey
3/4 Cup Olive Oil

1.) Mix Dry ingredients and set aside.

2.) Blend oil mixture in food proccesor.

3.) Place raw shrimp in a saute pan w/oil mixture and a couple scoops of the dry ingredients (more or less depending how hot you want it).

4.) When Oil starts to bubble flip shrimp and add a slab of butter and cream. Then mix in tomatoes and onions.

5.) Cook till shrimp is done. And serve with warm garlic bread.

* This is served as an appetizer but would be good served over steamed rice for an entree
