We did these for a small luncheon yesterday, and the ladies really liked it!
2 cans crescent dinner rolls
2 T. butter, melted
2 T. honey
6 oz. thinly sliced smoked turkey
6 oz. thinly sliced muenster cheese or swiss (we used both)
6 oz. thinly sliced cooked ham
1/2 cup red rapsberry preserves/jam
FOR THE TOP:
2 T. honey
1 T. sesame seeds
Seperate the dough into 4 long rectangles.
Place rectangles crosswise on one large or two small cookie sheets.
RECTANGLES should NOT TOUCH.
Firmly press perforations to seal.
In a small bowl, mix the butter and 2 tablespoons of honey.
Mix well, and brush over the dough.
Bake in a preheated 375 oven for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool for 15-20 minutes.
Grease a 15X10X1 inch baking pan.
Carefully place one crust on pan.
Top evenly with turkey.
Place second crust over turkey.
Top with cheese and ham.
Plcae third crust over ham.
Spread evenly with preserves.
Top with fourth crust.
Brush top with honey, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
BAKE at 375 for 10 -15 minutes or until loaf is deep golden brown.
Allow to sit at least 10 minutes, then slice into 6-8 slices.
NOTE: We also dusted them with a bit of powdered sugar.
