Ingredients:
Tuna Bumsteads celebrate school cafeteria fare from the 1950s. It's actually a hot dog bun filled with scoops of tuna salad and baked.
3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1 (7-ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
¼ pound American cheese, shredded
¼ to 1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon chopped stuffed green olives
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
8 hot dog buns
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Mix eggs, tuna, cheese, mayonnaise, onion, green pepper, olives and relish. Spoon into the hot dog buns.
Wrap individually in foil, place on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
