Use those fall apples in this recipe:
2 cups flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. BP
1 t. salt
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 large egg
3 T. melted butter
3 cups milk
3/4 cup grated apple (about 2 apples)
Mix the flour, sugar, BP, salt and cinnamon together in a large bowl.
Beat the in a seperate bowl for about 1 minute.
Add melted butter and the milk.
Pour over the dry ingredients and mix just until blended. DO not over mix.
Add grated apple to the batter.
Pour onto preheated griddle and brown on both sides turning only once.
Maple syrup is great with these!
