Grilled Cheese and Tomato Panini with Crispy Apples
Makes 1 sandwich
wonderful love it
This is an updated nostalgic sandwich to include cheddar and crispy tart apples. One of the original panini sandwiches, this recipe is sure to become a new tradition in your kitchen.
Ingredients
1/2 cup shredded or sliced Cheddar cheese
2 thick slices sourdough bread
1/2 cup whole tomatoes, drained and halved lengthwise
1/2 medium tart apple, such as a Granny Smith, unpeeled and sliced thinly
