    Creamy Noodle’n Beef Casserole (Microwave cooking!)

    1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
    1 8oz can tomato sauce
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1 cup cottage cheese
    2 cups egg noodles (4 oz) – cooked and drained
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup sour cream

    Cook beef, drain off fat. In a 2-qt casserole combine meat, tomato sauce, salt & pepper. Combine cottage cheese and sour cream. Remove half of the meat mixture from the casserole. Top meat in casserole with cooked noodles, then the cheese mixture. Spoon remaining meat mixture over the top, spreading to cover. Cook, covered with a paper towel, for 6 minutes on FULL POWER. Reduce to 50% power and cook 6-7 minutes more, until heated through.

    Top with shredded cheese. Let stand covered to melt cheese.
