This recipe is always a hit with my family and friends.Most of the time a make a double batch.
Baked Macaroni and Cheese
1 (8 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 eggs
3/4 to 1 ib. mild or medium cheddar cheese.(I sometimes mix the cheeses)
3/4-1 stick butter
Salt
Pepper
1.Cook macaroni according to package directions.
2.Cube cheese.
3.Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix together well.
4.Pour into greased casserole dish.
5.Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
I also like to put slices of cheddar cheese on the top before baking.
